How to Play

Jakaro is a competitive board game played in teams. Each player receives 4 stones of the same color placed in the starting house on the board. Cards are distributed each round and used to move stones along the track toward home base. The player who moves all their stones to the base wins the round.

Card Guide

  • 2: Move 2 steps. 3: Move 3 steps forward. 4: Move 4 steps back.
  • 5: Move 5 steps or move your partner 5 steps.
  • 6–9: Move forward the corresponding number of steps.
  • 7: Split across your own stones (7 total steps).
  • 10: Move 10 steps; force right opponent to discard a card.
  • Jack (Black): Swap your stone with an opponent's stone.
  • Queen: Move 12 steps forward.
  • King/Ace: Move stone from home to base, or 13 steps (eats all stones in path).
